India is home to 200 million migrant workers, forced to leave their homes due to a lack of livelihood opportunities. They endure poor working conditions, long hours, inadequate water and sanitation, and lack of safety equipment. Many are daily wagers relying on unstable incomes with no social security.
Million internal migrants, this vulnerable population remains largely overlooked. While various government welfare schemes exist, they fail to reach most migrants due to bureaucratic barriers and lack of awareness. Frequent movement between states further jeopardizes their food security, job stability, and access to legal rights.
