We are committed to ensuring that no woman, girl, or migrant worker in India is denied her basic rights. Our programs focus on addressing women’s empowerment issues, promoting gender equality initiatives, and supporting gender equity across rural and urban communities. Aligned with the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 11 for sustainable cities and affordable housing, we aim to create sustainable communities through projects that foster eco-friendly housing communities and sustainable neighborhood development. We empower women and girls by supporting gender parity initiatives and global movements like HeForShe and Impact 10x10x10, while also addressing the challenges faced by migrant workers through legal aid, livelihood programs, and support services. Our work in sustainable development in rural areas and local sustainable development projects aims to provide safe, affordable housing and promote gender equality for all.
We equip, mobilize, educate, and empower girls, women, youth, and migrant workers to achieve gender equality and address climate change across Maharashtra. Sanjeevan focuses on regions where changing systems, mindsets, and behaviors are crucial for providing safe spaces for girls, women, and migrant workers to realize their full potential. By identifying immediate local needs and structural concerns within communities, we design sustainable solutions and gender equality initiatives that align with local values.
We pilot sustainable community development projects, using technology-driven solutions and gender parity initiatives to enhance women empowerment strategies and ensure scalability.
In collaboration with the government, we design and deliver scaled-up programs that reach a larger number of beneficiaries. Our partnerships with government programs ensure that these initiatives meet the highest quality standards and protocols. One such example is Bachpan Ki Buniyad, our in-school migration education program, which is currently being implemented on construction sites to reach migrant worker children.
Together with our partners and alliances, we conceive leading-edge interventions that are both effective and scalable, ensuring maximum impact on the ground. These programs aim to empower girls, women, youth, and migrant workers with the resources they need to thrive.
We actively mentor and train women leaders at the panchayat level, as well as citizen journalists, ensuring their involvement in the planning, monitoring, and evaluation of services. By developing leadership skills, we contribute to gender equality initiatives and community-based sustainable development.
Our community mobilization efforts focus on building awareness, capacity, and ownership within local communities. We engage with key stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of policies and programs aimed at empowering women, youth, and migrant workers.
We integrate new technology to capture real-time data, monitor program quality, and enhance the capacity of beneficiaries and stakeholders. Our digital models enable the seamless delivery of all programs, supporting gender equality, sustainable development, and other key initiatives.
